Ushering in New Study Abroad Agreements

IEM Opens its Kenya ProgramIn line with its mission of promoting international education, IEM continuously forges new partnerships with leading institutions worldwide.

IEM is pleased to announce an execution of a partnership agreement with the United States International University (USIU) in Nairobi, Kenya and EUROACE in Valencia, Spain.  The agreements were signed in July and will provide American and Canadian university students with unique, high quality educational programs at both locations.

The IEM study abroad program in Kenya is scheduled to begin in Spring of 2012, with the first cohort of students arriving at USIU’s campus for the 14-week semester program in early January.  The IEM internship program in Spain will welcome new students as early as the beginning of August 2011.

Ranked as one of the top universities in Kenya and accredited by the Commission for Higher Education, USIU will offer IEM students a wide range of relevant, for-credit academic courses, excellent campus facilities and opportunities for travel and cultural immersion.  Students participating in the Spain program will undertake 8- to 12-week professional internships, enroll in intensive Spanish language classes as well as engage in various cultural activities.
