This immersion program is designed for exchange students who are interested in studying abroad in the U.S: studying with local American students; experiencing all sort of activities that the Rock Academy can offer; living with a host family; The Rock Academy will pair the exchange student with a local American student in order for the exchange student to experience the real deal of private school life here in the U.S.
Date: Jan 21st – Feb 5th, 2017 (15 days)
Homestay: Living with a host family in which they will provide 3 meals (breakfast, packed lunch, and dinner) a day and transportation to and from the school. Maximum 2 students per host family.
Activities: Tour San Diego – USS Midway Museum, La Jolla, Belmont Park, Pacific Beach, Balboa Park, SeaWorld, and UCSD.
Dress Code: Gray short sleeve polo and khaki color skirt or long pants.

The Rock Academy is located in Point Loma, San Diego, California. Point Loma is one of the prettiest and safest neighborhood in the U.S. These make the Rock Academy the perfect school for foreign exchange students.

HOW TO APPLY
Provide a valid passport, visa, health condition, a complete application including the minor forms.
Provide a valid travel insurance that covers the student’s duration in the U.S. while attending this program.
After arriving in San Diego, the student must be abided by the school and homestay rules. The student cannot leave the school and homestay without any pre-approval from this program’s director.
All fees of this program must be paid at least 4 weeks in prior to the start date of this program. If all fees were paid and the student withdrew from this program because of personal reason, there will not be any refund.
The $250 homestay deposit is not included in the program fee. This fee needs to be paid with the program fee at the same time. Upon the student’s departure of the homestay, if no damages were done, we will refund the deposit to whom the fund was originated.
There will be no refund if the student is being terminated from the program due to violation of the school and program rules.
